Crises orchestrated to benefit Big Gov and Big Biz

Call it orchestration by government and big business if you like. But it’s shady, it’s insidious and it traverses international boundaries. Our story alludes to the notion that a food crisis may be manufactured and GM crops will be offered to us as ‘the solution’. Interestingly, the story emerges not from within Europe, but from within the US Department of State. History tells us this is the way it’s done, the recent swine flu epidemic along with the offering of anti-viral drugs and vaccinations as the said solution, despite little or no evidence they’d be of any benefit.

So let’s be on high alert for an emerging EU food crisis, making sure in the meantime we do what we can to detach ourselves from the supermarket system. Local organic box schemes and community supported agriculture schemes can provide all your food needs. They’re non-GM, they’re mostly organic, and they are much more resistant to the ebb and flow of world markets. Hook yourself up to your local food suppliers and you’ll be able to sit back and exercise your democratic right when asked if you’d now be prepared to accept GM.
