How to Make Comfrey Oil
Symphytum officinale/uplandicum, or Comfrey, is a fabulous herb. In this video there's a simle recipe for making comfrey oil.
CAUTION: Comfrey should not be taken internally unless directed by a professional herbalist due to the presence of pyrrolizidine alkaloids which can be hepato-toxic, though risk is low according to literature.
Used externally however comfrey is very useful for healing wounds and broken bones (probably due to its ability to accelerate cell mitosis). It is sueful in skin conditions and wounds that won't heal.
